Wastewater Projects
UGRA is committed to assisting in efforts to provide sewer systems to areas where septic systems pose a threat to water quality. UGRA has provided Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to assist the City of Ingram in developing a sewer system. UGRA, Kerr County, the City of Kerrville, the State of Texas and Riverhill Country Club are partners in an effort to replace aging septic systems in a densely populated area known as Kerrville South. The Project will put in place 1.5 Million Dollars of infrastructure and have a substantial positive environmental impact.
Trash-Free River Initiative
Eliminating trash from the Upper Guadalupe River is the goal of UGRA’s Trash-Free River Initiative. UGRA currently contracts with a local company to clean up 14 water crossings throughout Kerr County on a weekly basis.
