Building Healthy Landscapes to Meet Urban Challenges Workshop

On February 25, 2025, the Upper Guadalupe River Authority, the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, and the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater Conservation District offered a training on why and how landscape practices can assist communities in meeting air and water quality goals while reducing peak stormwater flood flows. Debbie Reid and Nathan Glavy, both technical directors with the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, gave presentations highlighting landscape maintenance practices that promote water conservation and aquifer recharge.
